The Job

As an Accounts Executive, you will support the finance function by ensuring accurate financial records and efficient processing of transactions.
Processing supplier invoices and ensuring they are aligned with approved purchase orders and quotations
Reconciling supplier statements and preparing payments accordingly
Monitoring accounts payable and receivable activities
Assisting with bank reconciliations and general ledger entries
Liaising with internal departments and suppliers to resolve discrepancies
Supporting accruals and prepayments analysis
Assisting in month-end closing procedures
Preparing ad hoc reports as requested by the Financial Controller

Your responsibilities will include:

Proven experience in a similar accounting role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Knowledge of Shireburn accounting software will be considered an asset
