Dishwasher

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, washing dishes and utensils and support kitchen staff.

Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils. Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dishwashing area. Clean kitchen floors, work surfaces, sinks, and designated areas. Remove rubbish and dispose of waste according to hygiene procedures. Separate and organise clean and dirty dishes. Replenish cleaning materials and dishwashing supplies when required. Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and preparation duties when needed. Carry out deep cleaning of kitchen equipment and designated areas. Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations. Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or shortages to the supervisor. Ensure the kitchen remains clean, tidy, and organised throughout the shift.
