The Exterminator Pest Control Services is looking for a professional, organised and customer-focused individual to join our team in a Customer Support and Scheduling role.

This is an important position within our office team, as you will be one of the main points of contact between our customers and technicians. We are looking for someone who is confident speaking with clients, highly organised, able to multitask and comfortable managing a busy daily schedule.

Main Responsibilities

Answer incoming telephone calls, emails and customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Understand customers' pest-control requirements and provide the appropriate information about our services.
Book appointments for residential and commercial customers.
Manage and organise the daily schedules of our pest-control technicians.
Assign appointments to technicians while considering their existing workload, location and availability.
Reschedule and rearrange appointments when changes or cancellations occur.
Contact customers when appointment times need to be changed and ensure they are kept informed.
Confirm appointments and follow up with customers when necessary.
Coordinate with technicians throughout the working day regarding appointments, delays and schedule changes.
Maintain accurate customer information, appointment details and service records within our system.
Respond to customer emails and ensure enquiries are dealt with promptly.
Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate matters to management when required.
Work closely with the office, operations and technical teams to ensure the day's appointments run as smoothly as possible.
Carry out general administrative and customer-support duties when required.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is excellent with people and understands the importance of providing a high level of customer service. You should be confident on the phone and able to remain professional when dealing with difficult situations or last-minute changes.

The right candidate should have strong organisational and communication skills, good computer knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks at once. Experience in customer care, reception, scheduling, administration or a similar office-based role would be considered an asset.

Most importantly, we need someone who can take ownership of the schedule and actively solve problems rather than simply taking calls and passing information on.
