be.Hotel is seeking a skilled and passionate Front Office Shift Leader (Night Shift) to join our dynamic Front Office team. The Front Office Shift Leader (Night Shift) is responsible for leading and executing all front desk functions during the night shift, overseeing the performance of the front office team, and ensuring that guests receive a high standard of service. This role serves as a key point of contact for guests during the night, ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process while promoting hotel services and amenities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

Welcome and assist guests professionally throughout the night, ensuring a high standard of personalised service.
Lead and supervise the Front Office team during the night shift, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Oversee check-in, check-out, reservations, guest requests and other Front Office activities.
Handle guest enquiries, complaints and special requests promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
Promote hotel facilities and services while identifying opportunities to upsell.
Ensure the Front Desk and surrounding areas are clean, organised and adequately stocked.
Monitor cash handling, payments and the assigned cash float, ensuring accurate records and reconciliation.
Ensure guest information, reservations and Front Office records are accurately maintained.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests and operational matters are addressed efficiently.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and unexpected situations, ensuring guest and colleague safety.
Complete required night reports, records and shift handovers accurately.
Support and guide Front Office colleagues, ensuring hotel procedures, service standards and policies are consistently followed.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct and contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements

Currently based in Malta.
Passionate about hospitality and providing outstanding guest experiences.
In possession of Skills Pass Certificate (Phase 1 and 2).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Italian will be considered an asset.
Previous experience in hotel reservations or front office would be ideal.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience will be considered an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during the night shift.
