Role Description

Applying for work permits
Checking and collecting info from rosters / timesheets on a weekly basis
Calculation and inputting of data such as basic hours, leave, overtime, etc
May prepare and issue pay cheques
Ensure to keep proper filing of documentation
Review employee queries when necessary
Preparation of employment contracts
Registering employee engagements and terminations
Setting up of employees on the payroll system software
General administration, including but not limited to filing, detailed wage reports, salary settlements, FS3, pay slips
Reporting, lists and statistics as may be requested from the Finance Manager’s
Ad hoc duties as directed by the Finance Manager’s

Requirements

Must have experience in handling work permits
Good knowledge of employment law.
Maltese speaking
Knowledge of the Shireburn Indigo system will be considered an asset
O' level standard of education
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
The ability to communicate in both English and Maltese
Ability to work as part of a team, assisting others where necessary to ensure all deadlines are met
Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision
Be able to be flexible and multitask
Have excellent organisational skills
Experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
