Job summary

The purpose of this role is to analyse, design and define technological solutions and system changes while supporting the Solution Architect in large scale initiatives, as necessary. The main aim of the Senior System Analyst is to analyse business requirements and translate the requirements into detailed technical specifications – changing the WHAT into a HOW.

Main Responsibilities

Assist in defining and updating System Analysis process improvements and procedures.
Create effective technical documentation to help facilitate the understanding of such technical requirements.
Ensure completeness of technical requirements and functional architecture analysis for the design and implementation of technological solutions.
Perform the assigned tasks in an efficient and effective manner, and within the agreed timelines and quality.
Provide alternative technical solutions to overcome technical challenges, by being creative and innovative.

Requirements

Knowledge of Information Systems Analysis and Software Development.
Good communication skills (including written and verbal) - able to relate to various members of the organisation.
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Customer Driven with an ability to prioritise issues based on impact.
Excellent critical analysis and creative skills.
Three years of experience in areas of Systems Analysis or a similar role.
Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Background in application development.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related field.
