Job summary

We are looking for candidates who are customer oriented and driven to focus on quality of service in the role of General Banking Officer.

As a General Banking Officer, you will be assisting customers in the Branch Network through customer service functions including teller function and the promotion and selling of the Bank’s products and services

This position is available on full-time basis working on a shift schedule.

Main Responsibilities

Respond to customers’ enquiries regarding the operation of accounts, card services, internet banking requests, interest rates and Bank charges;
Post transactions accurately, access account information, balance transactions, and generally update customer account transactions and information;
Carry out teller duties and be responsible for maintaining the cash till, giving due importance to the required safety and security procedures;
Actively promote the Bank’s virtual channels;
Give customers an excellent and timely service;
Be knowledgeable and conversant with the Bank’s Handbook, circulars, products, services, website and Internet Banking system.

Requirements

Be customer driven with a focus on quality of service.
Possess good verbal and written communication.
Be reliable and organised.
Possess or is in the process of completing a qualification in banking, finance or related field.
Be Fluent in Maltese and English Language.
