Our client, a well-established audit and professional services firm in Malta, is seeking to recruit a Lawyer to join their growing legal team.

Responsibilities

Support Team Leaders on a wide range of legal and operational matters, including corporate, commercial, intellectual property, employment, gaming, and fintech-related matters.
Draft, review, and approve agreements and other legal documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Provide legal advice and assistance on corporate transactions, company restructurings, and other corporate matters.
Conduct legal research on various areas of law and prepare legal briefs, reports, and opinions for clients.
Advise clients and internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and industry requirements.
Attend client meetings, prepare supporting documentation, and provide timely and accurate assistance on ongoing matters.
Manage administrative and organisational tasks, including document management, scheduling, follow-ups, and project tracking.
Collaborate closely with colleagues across different service lines to deliver comprehensive and client-focused solutions.
Undertake any other duties that fall within the scope of the role as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

Fully qualified lawyer with a valid warrant to practise under Maltese law.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar legal role.
Strong knowledge of Maltese corporate and commercial law, with exposure to other practice areas considered an asset.
Commercially minded, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
A motivated team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
