The Lawyer will serve as a trusted legal advisor to Senior Management and key stakeholders, providing strategic and practical guidance across all legal, regulatory, compliance, and data protection matters of the Company. The role will play a critical part in safeguarding the Company’s legal interests, enabling business growth, and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations across all jurisdictions in which the Company operates.

Duties & Responsibilities

You will be a part of the Legal team, supporting on all areas of legal work, regulatory compliance and data protection as DPO
You will draft and review all legal documents, corporate documents and take part in contract negotiations
You will advise management on issues such as Contract, Commercial, IT & Data, Software and M&A topics
You will have experience in handling insurance matter as well as ESG as a plus
You will support and contribute to the Company’s internationalization and expansion plans You will ensure that the entire organization complies with relevant laws and regulations at all times

Advise Senior Management on:

Business agreements and employment contracts
Contractors/consultants agreements
Corporate governance and corporate agreements
Non-disclosure agreements
Software licenses and maintenance/support agreements
Data Protection Agreements
Supplier agreements
Escrow agreements and arrangements
Managed Services agreements

In addition, you will:

Liaise with foreign legal advisers in connection with company set ups and services abroad
Cooperate with RS2 finance department in connection with any filings needed by the registry of companies or other legal entities
Coordinate with external legal counsel on disputes and litigations
Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

Full legal qualifications of excellent standing and well 2-3 years plus working experience in a leading commercial law firm or in-house
Solutions and goal oriented
Have strong communication skills
Fluent in English and another EU language in addition would be a plus
Strategic thinking and business acumen
A high degree of initiative
Able to work independently and work well in a team
Effective organizational skills with ability to prioritise in a changing environment
Willing to take ownership of problems with attention to detail

Previous experience in the payments industry will be considered an asset
