Our client is seeking an Administrative & Compliance Officer who is required to manage local office administration and support regulatory compliance for an accredited higher education institution in Malta. Working alongside a UK-based operations team and local directors, you will manage local administrative tasks, update operational policies, and assist with audit preparations for the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA).

The Main Responsibilities include:

Assist in compiling, organizing, and filing documentation for license renewal, policy updates, and MFHEA external quality assurance audits.
Provide a regular physical presence at the registered office to receive, log, and action incoming official post and regulatory correspondence.
Maintain accurate institutional filing systems, meeting minutes, and compliance audit trails.
Serve as a reliable local administrative link between London operations, local leadership, and external QA consultants.

Working Hours: Up to 20 hours per week (Flexible schedule: core morning/afternoon preferred)

Salary: €14-17 per hour (depending on the experience)

Requirements

Excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently with remote management.
Preffered direct experience with the MFHEA or another higher education regulator.

Education and Experience

Experience in administration, compliance, quality assurance, or higher education support.
