Maintenance Person

APM Holdings is seeking to recruit a skilled and reliable Maintenance Person to maintain its residential properties in Malta and Gozo.

The successful candidate will carry out preventive maintenance and day-to-day repairs, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and general household maintenance. Responsibilities will also include inspecting and troubleshooting lighting, appliances and household systems, identifying maintenance needs and addressing issues promptly.

The role involves coordinating and supervising external contractors for specialist works, checking the quality of completed repairs, maintaining adequate stocks of tools and maintenance supplies, and responding to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.

THE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have experience in property maintenance, sound practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry and general repairs, and confidence in using hand and power tools. An electrical licence would be considered an asset, and a valid EU or Maltese driving licence is required.

The successful candidate will be proactive, reliable and able to work independently, with good problem-solving skills and close attention to detail. Physical stamina, the ability to follow technical instructions, good communication skills and fluency in English are essential.
