Job description

We are currently looking for an Analytical Researcher who will be responsible for developing analytical methods, troubleshooting existing methods and validating new methods using qualified laboratory equipment. The selected person will work in a lab and will closely collaborate with cross-functional project teams, line management, and external partners.

This position is on a full-time basis.

The Position Requires:

· Developing and optimizing test methods.

· Carrying out inter departmental investigations when problems arise.

· Validating new research methods.

· Investigating analysis relating to Clients’ deficiencies and Drug Master files.

· Liaising with analytical equipment suppliers regarding any problems that might arise.

· Managing laboratory equipment, disposables, and waste.

· Experience working in a GMP environment would be an asset.

The Selected Person Will be:

· In possession of a Chemistry degree or any related scientific subject.

· Proficient in English.

· Ideally experienced in carrying out research processes in an academic or industrial environment.

· Ideally knowledgeable in the use of various analytical technique:

HPLC-UV (Agilent), UPLC-UV (Agilent), GC-FID Autosampler and Headspace (Agilent), FT-IR, PSD, KF (Coulometric and Volumetric), DSC, Microscope; however, training will be provided to the right candidate.

· Inquisitive, self- motivated and with good attention to detail.

· Able to carry out investigations autonomously and able to critically evaluate the results obtained.

· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
