Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assisting the Legal team in its day-to-day legal tasks.
Carrying out legal research on legislation, regulations, and case law as required.
Following developments in legislation and analysing new laws and judicial decisions.
Preparing legal documentation and assisting in the review of agreements and contracts.
Communicating with various departments and stakeholders across the business.
Maintaining and organising legal files and documentation.
Assisting in ensuring that legal records and filing systems remain accurate and up to date.
Developing knowledge and expertise in transport, employment, commercial, competition, and corporate law matters.
Supporting the Legal team in projects and initiatives as required.
Any other duties related to the job position that may be required depending on the exigencies of the business at the time.

Requirements

Completed first year of a Law course.
Basic office management knowledge.
Good written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a professional environment.
Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
Good legal writing and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

The following will be considered an asset:

Previous internship or work experience in a legal or administrative environment.
Interest in transport, employment, commercial, competition, or corporate law.
Familiarity with legal research tools and databases.
