Job Purpose

The Human Resources and Admin Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the Foundation's people management processes and administrative operations. The position is responsible for assisting with recruitment, employee relations, staff development, HR administration, and general organisational support to ensure the Foundation maintains a positive, inclusive, and effective working environment that aligns with its mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

Support the recruitment and selection process, including preparing job advertisements, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.

Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes for new employees, outsourced staff and volunteers.
Maintain accurate and confidential records.
Prepare employment contracts, HR correspondence, and other personnel documentation.
Monitor staff attendance, leave, and absence records.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, safeguarding requirements, and organisational policies.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Employee and Volunteer Support

Serve as a first point of contact for staff and volunteers regarding HR related matters.

Support the coordination of training programmes, workshops, and professional development activities.
Assist in resolving routine employee concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
Administrative and Organisational Support

Assist in organising meetings, staff events, volunteer activities, and training sessions.

Coordinate office administration and ensure efficient internal communication.
Any other tasks related to the post.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field. Applicants with a Master’s degree are considered an asset.
A minimum of 3 years of previous experience in human resources, administration, employee support, or NGO operations is a must.
Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
