Job Description
The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service, crafting high-quality classic and signature cocktails, pouring beers and wines, and providing an engaging dining and drinking experience at the bar.
Beverage Preparation & Crafting: Prepare and serve hot/cold beverages, spirits, draught/bottled beers, wines, and classic or signature cocktails according to standardized recipes and portion controls. Guest Service & Engagement: Greet bar guests promptly, present drink/food menus, offer expert recommendations, guide menu pairings, and deliver attentive, personable service. POS & Cash Handling: Take orders accurately, enter items into the POS system, process cash, credit card, and contactless transactions, and manage the cash drawer responsibly. Bar Maintenance & Cleanliness: Keep the bar top, service well, glassware, and equipment immaculate throughout the shift; wash and sanitize glassware; replace kegs and re-stock ice, garnishes, and spirits as needed. Opening & Closing Duties: Execute daily opening prep (slicing garnishes, preparing syrups, setting up stations) and thorough closing routines (deep cleaning, securing alcohol stock, inventory counts). Compliance & Responsible Service: Verify customer identification for age compliance, monitor guest alcohol consumption, and enforce responsible service guidelines to prevent over-intoxication.
