We're looking for a Business Advisory Support Executive to join Sheltons Malta. In this role, you will support the Head of Business Advisory in their everyday tasks and during the first year will be supported and trained to eventually be in a position to support clients directly by turning client information, research and financial data into clear business reports . This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with detail, asking good questions and finds joy in helping clients prepare their business plans, assist with obtaining funding and support with investment materials.

This is a full-time position based in Malta.

About the Role

As Business Advisory Support Executive, you will be working closely with our senior adviser on client engagements involving business planning, funding support, investment preparation and advisory reporting. During the initial period, you will be assisting with everyday tasks, while being trained and support to become our next Business Advisory Manager, at which point you will help organise commercial, financial and operational information, structure business issues clearly, and translate complex material into business plans, reports, presentations and action points that clients can use.

Key Responsibilities

Organise and review client information, identifying gaps, inconsistencies and matters requiring clarification.
Maintain departmental records and systems, including the CRM, and support the department’s administrative and reporting requirements.
Analyse business performance, markets, competitors, operations and financial information.
Support the preparation of business plans, advisory reports, proposals, funding applications and presentations.
Distil large volumes of information into clear client narratives, concise summaries, tables and visual outputs.
Build and maintain accurate Excel analyses and produce polished documents in Word and PowerPoint.
Prepare meeting materials, minutes and action trackers; coordinate inputs, manage versions and quality-check deliverables.

What We're Looking For

Excellent command of English language.
Currently studying towards, or already holding, a degree in business, management, finance, or accounting.
One to three years' relevant experience in advisory, analysis, professional services, finance, research or project support.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to produce client-ready work.
A willingness to adopt new technologies to improve efficiency, enhance the quality of client outputs and deliver greater value to clients.
Strong analytical and numerical ability, with excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to build a clear and persuasive story from evidence.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to structure and frame business problems logically.
A self-starter who can prioritise relevant information, ask good questions and manage several deadlines reliably.
