The position holder is accountable to the national and international directives of the Company

TASKS

The position holder is responsible, in agreement with the superior, for the following activities:

Operational Concept

Communication and coordination with internal interfaces.
Participation in all mandatory training and education courses (including those on safety, hygiene and energy consumption).
Support in initial training (e.g. as a trainer, tutor).
Warehouse inventory support.
Telematic monitoring of the transport service.
Compliance with cleaning and hygiene specifications throughout the internal and external areas of the warehouse.
Following company directives to ensure the maintenance of the cold chain.
Maintaining order and cleanliness of tools and the workplace.
Correct management of data in the system.
Prompt communication to the superior regarding any technical safety deficiencies or repair needs of the vehicles, equipment and warehouse systems.

Process Department

Outbound goods

Optimization of the daily delivery plan based on the actual size of the pallets ordered.
Processing of tours and routes in the planning program (e.g. adjusting the number of transport units).
Printing of the relevant company forms at the end of the picking process, for travel arrangements and subsequent delivery to the truck driver (loading note, forms, etc.)
Preparation of the lane plan and planning of waiting times.
Check for any anomalies on the systems used in the department.
Movement of goods from other warehouse areas (e.g. frozen food boxes) or from other storage locations to the loading lanes.
Handling store mail and other supplies (e.g. keys for shops with lockers) to truck drivers
Assistance with pre-loading and loading trucks, if necessary.
Management of returns documentation.
Check that the load is secured and apply the seal.
Maintenance and updating of UM modules.
Support in transport assessment.
Physical counting of goods at the door and their movement between trucks and warehouse
Truck temperature control during loading and related settings.
Temperature checks and related documentation for return tours.

Incoming Goods Office

Acceptance and entry into the system of transport documents.
Acquisition of transporter booking numbers, in order to proceed with the unloading phase of the goods.
Constant system management of the goods delivery phases.
Prioritization of unloading based on bookings / operational needs (negative items).
Management of the assignment of unloading doors to transporters.

Assigning necessary warehouse equipment (e.g. pagers) to drivers.

Coordination with the Supply Chain Department in case of anomalies.
Coordination with counters in case of deviations between expected and actual quantities and, if necessary, interface with the Supply Chain Department.
Ensuring the flow of information into the system in the traceability area.
Entering and recording goods receipt into the system.
Management of delivery notes and issuance of the goods receipt confirmation form to truck drivers and delivery of a copy of the delivery note to the truck driver.
Preparation of lists required by company procedures and/or guidelines (e.g. list of expected goods receipts, etc.
Correct storage of completed forms (e.g., weight check, according to storage specifications).
Clarifying discrepancies between delivery note and invoice
If necessary, pallet account management

Picking Office

Interface and coordination with the Supply Chain Department and the stores.
Control and coordination of order preparation processes (e.g. plausibility check, order assignment and prioritization).
Provision of all necessary aids for order picking (e.g. safety tape, gloves).
Consultation with the incoming goods regarding the door plan and waiting times.
Preparing for daily closing and data processing.
Complaints Processing.
Process accounting for store orders.
Delivery plan management to ensure operational readiness.
Management and archiving of department forms.
Printing of transfer documentation.
If applicable, possible replacement of direct colleagues (e.g., counts, write offs, other operational activities).
If necessary, unloading / loading trucks.
