We are recruiting a General Manager for our MPD On-Site Energy Division forming part of the Melita Marine Group to lead the next phase of development of MPD' s power generation and distributed energy business.

Based in Malta and operating across Malta, Greece, Cyprus, Libya and selected international markets, this is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for the business unit’s strategy, P&L, commercial performance, operational delivery and organisational development.

The division operates across power generation, integrated energy solutions, project delivery, service, rental power and future product development, supported by established relationships with Rolls-Royce Power Systems /MTU.

We are looking for an experienced leader from the power generation, critical power, distributed energy or industrial energy sector who combines:

Proven P&L and commercial responsibility
Strong technical understanding of generator and integrated power systems
Experience leading complex projects from tender through commissioning
Strong commercial, contractual and margin discipline
Multi-country leadership capability
Experience developing teams, processes and scalable business structures

Experience in generator assembly, rental power, switchgear/control systems, BESS, CHP, data centres or international business development would be highly advantageous.

This is not a conventional project management or sales position. It is a business leadership role for someone capable of building and leading a structured, scalable regional On-Site Energy operation.
