We are seeking to recruit a Logistics Executive to join the Procurement & Logistics team. Reporting directly to the Procurement & Logistics Manager, the selected candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of shipments, deliveries and transport arrangements, while also providing support across the procurement function.

This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives on operational ownership and enjoys keeping goods, paperwork and people moving in sync.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments end to end, liaising with freight forwarders, carriers and suppliers to ensure deliveries arrive on time and in full
Plan and track transport arrangements, proactively flagging and resolving delays or discrepancies
Prepare, verify and maintain accurate shipping and import documentation for customs clearance, audit and reporting purposes
Monitor freight costs and delivery performance, and support the identification of savings and process improvements across the supply chain
Coordinate closely with warehouse, operations and other internal stakeholders to align incoming stock with operational requirements
Follow up with suppliers and freight providers on any issues relating to quality, delivery timelines or service levels

Procurement support

Support the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of products
Evaluate and compare supplier quotations and assist with cost analysis
Assist in supplier negotiations and in preparing contracts in line with agreed commercial terms
Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records
Provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement & Logistics Manager and/or Senior Procurement & Logistics Executive as required, including cover during periods of absence

The ideal candidate will:

Have 2–4 years' experience in logistics, shipping or supply chain operations, ideally within FMCG, with exposure to procurement
Have a practical understanding of shipping documentation, freight processes and Incoterms
Be highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Demonstrate strong communication and coordination skills when dealing with suppliers, freight providers and internal stakeholders
Bring good commercial awareness and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate supplier and carrier offers
Be proactive, reliable and able to work independently
Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Be fluent in written and spoken English
Have a positive, hands-on attitude and a solutions-oriented mindset
