Due to its continued successful operation, MPD Greece is expanding its dynamic team.

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Application Engineer to join our team in the power generation sector. This role involves supporting the sales and engineering teams by providing technical expertise, designing customized solutions for clients, and ensuring the successful application and integration of our products and systems into various power generation projects.

Job Description

Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical solutions for power generation systems.
Analyze customer specifications and propose appropriate equipment configurations (e.g., gas turbines, diesel generators, renewable hybrid systems).
Develop technical proposals, performance models, and cost-effective solutions.
Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including single-line diagrams, layout drawings, and control schematics.
Support project execution teams during the transition from proposal to implementation.
Liaise with R&D and product teams to ensure optimal product application.
Conduct site visits and technical assessments when necessary.
Provide technical support and training to customers, partners, and internal teams.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies, industry trends, and regulatory standards in the power generation sector.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering (or related field).
3+ years of experience in an engineering role, preferably within the power generation industry.
Strong understanding of power generation equipment and systems (e.g., generators, engines, turbines, switchgear).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with hybrid power systems, renewable energy integration, or energy storage solutions.
Knowledge of grid interconnection standards and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with SCADA systems and power monitoring tools.
