Role Overview

Our Client is seeking a detail-focused and analytical professional to join its team in a role centred around data interpretation, reporting, and performance monitoring. The selected individual will play an important part in transforming operational data into meaningful insights, supporting informed business decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Reporting: Prepare and maintain regular reports that provide clear visibility on business performance indicators and operational activity.
Data Analysis: Examine datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic and day-to-day decision-making.
Performance Monitoring: Assist in tracking key performance metrics, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting across departments.
Systems Support: Provide assistance with data-related queries and contribute to improving data integrity across internal systems.
Dashboard Development: Support the creation and enhancement of visual reports and summaries to improve data accessibility for stakeholders.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Education: A background in data-related studies, IT, business analytics, or a similar discipline is considered an advantage.
Experience: Previous exposure to reporting, data handling, or analytical work would be beneficial, though not essential.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
Communication Skills: Ability to present findings in a clear and structured manner, both verbally and in writing.
Interpersonal Skills: Comfortable working collaboratively across teams and engaging with different stakeholders.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data visualisation. Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, SQL, or ERP/CRM systems will be considered an advantage.
Organisation: Strong ability to manage tasks efficiently, prioritise workload, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
Self-Motivated: Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within a data-focused environment.
Problem-Solving: Ability to interpret information critically and propose logical solutions based on data findings.
