Paradise Bay Hotel and Resort Ltd. is seeking an experienced and organised Purchasing & Stores Manager to join our team on a full-time, indefinite basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of purchasing and stores operations, ensuring the timely availability, proper receipt, storage, and issuance of goods required for hotel operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Manage supplier sourcing, selection, and negotiations in line with company standards and budgetary requirements.
Maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply, quality, and service reliability.
Oversee the verification and inspection of all goods delivered to the hotel.
Ensure deliveries are matched against approved purchase orders and supplier invoices.
Supervise the correct storage of goods in accordance with food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards.
Maintain appropriate stock levels to meet operational needs while minimising excess or obsolete stock.
Oversee the issuing of goods to departments against approved requisitions.
Execute and record stock transfers from Main Stores where applicable.
Ensure accurate documentation and traceability for all inventory movements.
Supervise and coordinate daily Stores activities, including task allocation and daily shift coverage.

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years' experience in purchasing and/or stores management within a hotel or similar operation.
Strong understanding of inventory control and supplier management.
Proven supervisory and organisational skills.
Experience using inventory and procurement systems.
Ability to work closely and effectively with Finance and Operations.
High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
