We are looking for a motivated and reliable Appliance Delivery Helper to join our growing team.

Role Summary

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Appliance Delivery Helper to assist with the safe delivery, handling, and installation of household appliances. The successful candidate will work closely with the Appliance Technician to ensure excellent customer service while delivering products safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the driver with loading and unloading appliances from the delivery vehicle.
Safely transport appliances into customers' homes or businesses.
Help install and position appliances where required.
Remove packaging materials and dispose of them appropriately.
Collect old appliances for recycling or disposal, where applicable.
Ensure appliances are handled carefully to prevent damage.
Assist in completing delivery documentation and obtaining customer signatures.
Provide courteous and professional customer service at every delivery.
Follow all manual handling, health and safety, and company procedures.
Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organised.
Report any delivery issues, damages, or customer concerns to the supervisor.

Requirements

Previous experience in a delivery, warehouse, or moving role is an advantage but not essential.
Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy appliances safely.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Customer-focused with a professional attitude.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure.
Basic knowledge of appliance installation is an advantage, but not essential.
Clean driving licence (beneficial but not required).

Working Conditions

Frequent lifting and carrying of heavy household appliances. Regular travel to customer locations. Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
