Position Overview

A passionate and driven Diagnostic/Laboratory Representative is sought to support the growth of a diagnostics portfolio by developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The role combines scientific knowledge, technical product support, customer relationship management, and sales within the laboratory and diagnostics sector.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will promote and sell laboratory products to new and existing customers, develop strong client relationships, and identify opportunities for continued business growth.

The role includes gathering market insights, understanding changing customer requirements, and recommending appropriate laboratory and diagnostic solutions based on individual needs.

Responsibilities also involve preparing quotations, negotiating commercial terms, supporting tender submissions, and ensuring the effective implementation of customer projects.

The candidate will develop strong technical knowledge of the product portfolio, provide customer training and first-level application support, and monitor customer satisfaction throughout the sales and implementation process.

The role also includes attending local and international training sessions and conferences, together with handling relevant documentation and administrative duties.

Requirements

Candidates should hold a Degree in Applied Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline and possess a valid Category B driving licence.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, together with proficiency in Microsoft Office and good general computer literacy.

The ideal candidate should be motivated, goal-oriented, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of responsibilities while working effectively as part of a team.

Previous experience in a similar diagnostics, laboratory, scientific sales, or technical support role will be considered an asset but is not essential.
