Position Overview

A reliable and hands-on Property Manager is sought to oversee a portfolio of short-let properties across Malta. This is a practical, on-the-road role involving property inspections, guest check-ins, maintenance coordination, and ensuring every apartment is fully prepared for arriving guests.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will manage in-person guest check-ins, inspect properties following check-outs and cleaning, and ensure apartments meet established standards for cleanliness, presentation, linen, stock, and guest supplies.

The role includes coordinating maintenance from initial reporting through to completion, resolving on-site guest issues, and working closely with cleaners, contractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities also include supporting the setup of new properties and keeping property information and task statuses accurately updated through platforms such as Trello and Guesty.

Requirements

Candidates must have their own car or motorbike and a full driving licence, as regular travel between properties across Malta is essential.

Applicants should be fluent in English, highly organised, dependable, and capable of managing several properties and priorities independently.

Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and a practical problem-solving approach are essential. Candidates must be based in Malta, eligible to work locally, available to work weekends, and willing to participate in a shared paid on-call rotation.

Previous experience in property management, hospitality, short-let or vacation rentals and familiarity with Airbnb, Booking.com, Guesty, or similar platforms will be considered an advantage.

What Is Offered

The position offers a salary of €18,000–€28,000 gross per year, depending on experience, together with fuel and travel allowance, paid on-call allowance, and a quarterly performance bonus linked to property quality and guest reviews.

A full-time indefinite contract is offered, together with opportunities for increased responsibility and career growth as the property portfolio expands.
