Hilton Malta is looking for a detail-oriented full-time Payroll Officer to join our Human Resources team and take ownership of the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service to our Team Members.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage monthly payroll processing and reconciliation

· Ensure compliance with Maltese payroll, tax, and social security requirements

· Prepare statutory returns including FS3, FS5 and FS7 submissions

· Produce payroll, labour cost and workforce reports using Indigo Payroll and Indigo Insights

· Support Heads of Department with payroll and labour data analysis

· Identify opportunities to improve and automate payroll processes

· Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance

· Support HR projects, process improvements, and wider HR initiatives, collaborating with the team to deliver an efficient and positive employee experience.

We're looking for someone with:

· Experience with Indigo Payroll / Shireburn Software and Indigo Insights

· Knowledge of Maltese payroll legislation and statutory reporting

· Hospitality or high-volume payroll experience

· Experience in payroll, HR administration, or accounting

· Strong analytical and Excel skills

· Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

· A proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement
