Medina Restaurant, a Michelin Recommended restaurant located in the heart of Mdina, is looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in delivering outstanding culinary experiences.

What You'll Do

As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the daily operation of our kitchen by:

Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Leading designated kitchen sections during preparation and service.
Preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standards with consistency and attention to detail.
Supervising and mentoring junior kitchen team members.
Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
Assisting with stock control, waste management, and ingredient quality.
Supporting the preparation of staff meals.
Contributing to private events, weddings, and special functions.
Ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
