About the Role

One of our clients is seeking a Customer Support Officer to provide high-quality support and assistance to customers across a range of banking services.

This role is suited to someone with previous customer service experience, strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach who is comfortable assisting customers over the phone and through digital channels.

Main Duties

The role will include:

Providing customer support via telephone, email and secure messages, in line with applicable policies and procedures
Guiding customers through standard online transactions and encouraging the use of digital services
Ensuring customer communications are handled promptly and meet required quality, regulatory and legal standards
Processing online banking applications accurately and efficiently
Working towards set KPIs relating to service levels, lead generation, appointment booking and cross-selling
Maintaining and improving the quality and accuracy of customer data
Processing assigned tasks, including data remediation and inheritance settlements
Assisting with operational and compliance-related reports and other assigned duties

Requirements

Applicants should:

Be a Registered Disabled Person (RDP) and have a valid RDP number
Have previous experience in a customer service role
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Maltese and English
Have a customer-focused approach and strong communication skills
Have basic knowledge of banking and financial products; this will be considered an advantage
Have an MQF Level 4 standard of education or higher; this will be considered an advantage
