Flic Flac Gymnastics Malta is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Gymnastics Coach to join our growing team.

We are a recreational and developmental gymnastics academy built around a Gymnastics for All philosophy, creating a positive, inclusive and progressive environment where children can develop their skills, confidence and love for the sport.

The Role

We are looking for coaches who can contribute to one or more areas of our programme, depending on their experience, qualifications and availability:

Recreational gymnastics across different ages and ability levels
Tumbling and progressive skill development
Developmental and team-level gymnastics
Neurodivergent and inclusive gymnastics programmes
Morning baby, toddler and preschool movement programmes
Camps, workshops, events and other academy programmes

Coaches will be responsible for delivering safe, structured and engaging sessions, supporting individual athlete progression and adapting their coaching approach to different ages, abilities and learning needs.

Who We're Looking For

Applicants should have a background in gymnastics, sports coaching, physical education or a related movement discipline, together with confidence working with children.

Gymnastics coaching qualifications and previous coaching experience are preferred. Experience in tumbling, early years or neurodivergent/inclusive programmes is considered a strong asset.

A valid First Aid certification is required, or must be obtained as part of the role. Appropriate additional training may be required for coaches working within our baby and early-years programmes.

Hours & Remuneration

This is a flexible position, with the possibility of building a larger weekly schedule across morning, afternoon and/or weekend programmes. Remuneration will be determined according to the programmes the applicant is qualified to teach, coaching experience, responsibilities undertaken and the number of weekly hours committed.

We particularly welcome applicants who are interested in taking ownership of specific programmes and growing their coaching hours within the academy.
