GCS Malta is seeking a F&B Manager to join the team at one of Malta's top Hotels. The position will report directly to the Culinary Director.

Responsibilities

Overseeing daily food and beverage operations across hotel restaurants, bars, and dining outlets.
Supervising, training, and motivating staff to maintain high service standards.
Managing staff scheduling, workforce planning, and departmental performance.
Ensuring excellent guest service and resolving customer complaints professionally.
Monitoring food quality, beverage standards, and service delivery.
Managing budgets, controlling operational costs, and maximizing revenue and profitability.
Overseeing inventory, stock control, purchasing, and supplier relationships.
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Coordinating with kitchen, housekeeping, front office, and other hotel departments.
Developing menus, promotional activities, and strategies to increase sales.
Monitoring sales performance, operational reports, and guest satisfaction.
Ensuring adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience managing F&B operations within a hotel or resort, preferably across multiple outlets, along with a hands-on management style focused on coaching, developing, and motivating employees.

This role requires strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams, delegate responsibilities effectively, and ensure accountability, as well as strong commercial awareness, including revenue generation, profitability, labour costs, and cost control.

Fluency in English is essential, while knowledge of Maltese would be considered an asset.
