📍 Sliema, Malta | Full-Time | 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday

Malta Design is looking for an experienced Sales & Business Development Executive to join our team.

We work across urban furniture, playgrounds, outdoor fitness, landscaping, public spaces, construction and architectural projects, partnering with leading international manufacturers and working with architects, contractors, public authorities and private clients across Malta.

This is not simply a sales position.

We are looking for someone who can develop business, manage client relationships and take ownership of projects from the initial enquiry through to completion and after-sales.

What you’ll be doing

Managing and developing your own portfolio of clients
Identifying and developing new business opportunities
Conducting client meetings and presentations
Managing direct sales and preparing commercial proposals
Assisting with tendering processes, including reviewing tender documents and supporting the preparation of submissions
Preparing quotations and supporting documentation
Managing tender and project deadlines
Following projects from enquiry, quotation and order through to delivery and completion
Coordinating project invoicing and commercial follow-up
Maintaining strong relationships with architects, contractors, public authorities and private clients
Ensuring a high level of client satisfaction throughout the project and after completion
Supporting the continued development of Malta Design within the Maltese market

Who we’re looking for

You should have:

At least 2 years’ experience in sales within a similar or related industry
The ability to manage clients and projects independently
Strong commercial and business-development skills
Confidence presenting products, concepts and proposals to clients
Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Fluent English
Maltese would be a significant advantage; alternatively, a willingness to learn Maltese is highly valued
A valid driving licence and your own vehicle
Your own laptop available for use during the probationary period
The ability to work from our Sliema office and attend client meetings and project sites across Malta
Living in Malta and having the right to work in Malta

Previous experience within urban furniture, playgrounds, construction, civil works, landscaping, architecture or related sectors will be considered a strong advantage.
