Britannia Services Ltd is Malta’s leading company offering holiday packages and tours, individual travel, long-haul, cruises, honeymoon packages, insurance and more. Our success story is attributed to our core values: honesty, exceptional service, and reliability.

About the role:

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and motivated Travel Consultant to join our sales office team. This is a face-to-face role: you will welcome clients into our office, understand what they are looking for, and help them book memorable and stress-free holidays and tours.

You will be the first person our clients meet, so warmth, confidence and a genuine enjoyment of talking to people are just as important as travel knowledge. We will teach you our products and systems.

What will you do:

Listen to clients’ needs and recommend suitable tours, holiday packages and travel arrangements.
Process bookings and reservations accurately and efficiently and handle payments.
Offer additional products where they genuinely suit the client, including insurance and excursions.
Follow up on bookings and enquiries by phone and email so that nothing is missed.
Handle questions and complaints professionally and see them through to a timely resolution.
Meet agreed sales targets and contribute to a positive team environment.
Gather client feedback and share ideas that help us improve our service.
Occasionally support company events or familiarisation trips, as required.

Required skills and responsibilities:

Bachelor’s degree in tourism, hospitality, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in the tourism or hospitality industry.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
Fluency in Maltese and English (additional languages are an advantage).
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently.
Personal travel experience will be considered an asset.

What we offer:

We offer an attractive remuneration package, rewarding your hard work and contribution to our success. If you’re passionate about travel, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to be part of a leading travel company, we’d love to hear from you!

Application process:

Interested candidates should submit a resume and a cover letter explaining why they are a good fit for this role.
