We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman / Project Manager to train and supervise finishing teams, uphold quality and safety standards, and progressively assume broader project-delivery responsibilities.

We are expanding our workforce and project capacity and is seeking an experienced construction professional for a training-led Site Foreman / Project Manager position.

The initial priority of the role is workforce training, practical supervision and quality control. The successful candidate will learn our company's approved methods and operating systems, demonstrate correct working procedures, observe employee performance, provide constructive correction and help employees develop towards reliable independent work.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

Training and guiding employees in approved construction methods and quality standards
Demonstrating correct preparation, application and finishing procedures
Inspecting work and identifying defects or unsuitable preparation at an early stage
Allocating tasks according to employee capability and required supervision
Monitoring productivity, workmanship, safety and project progress
Coordinating labour, materials, equipment, access and daily site requirements
Maintaining accurate task, progress, quality and incident records using company systems
Communicating instructions clearly to employees and subcontractors
Reporting delays, variations, defects and site problems promptly to management
Supporting corrective work and verifying satisfactory completion
Assisting with scheduling, planning, progress reviews and project handovers
Progressively assuming broader site coordination and project-management responsibilities

Applicants should possess strong practical knowledge in several of the following areas: tiling, plastering and rendering, screeding, painting and decorating, waterproofing and general construction finishings.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience supervising construction workers or finishing teams, together with the ability to explain technical methods clearly, correct employees professionally and lead through practical knowledge and personal example.

The role requires sound judgement, organisation, reliability, honest reporting, attention to detail and a consistent commitment to workmanship, safety and company procedures. Familiarity with smartphone-based scheduling, reporting or task-management systems is considered an advantage.

This is a hands-on site leadership position and not a desk-only project-management role. Wider management authority will be assigned progressively after the candidate has demonstrated a practical understanding of our company's methods, workforce and operational requirements.
