About the Opportunity

DFK Malta is partnering with one of our clients, a well-established company specialising in the import, distribution, and marketing of photo equipment, office hardware and software, and security systems. The company represents several leading international brands and is looking to expand its sales team with a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative.

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing clients with tailored product solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Present, promote, and sell our products and services to both existing and prospective customers.
Carry out cost-benefit and needs analyses for clients to ensure they receive the right solutions.
Establish, develop, and maintain positive, long-term business relationships.
Reach out to potential customer leads, including through cold calling.
Address and resolve customer queries and issues promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Monitor and respond to customer enquiries and direct messages across our social media channels, primarily Facebook and Instagram.
Work towards achieving agreed sales targets and objectives.
Coordinate sales efforts with fellow team members and other departments.
Analyse territory and market potential, keeping track of sales trends and reporting on progress.
Provide feedback to management on customer needs, competitor activities, and opportunities for new products or services.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience working as a Sales Representative with a solid track record in sales.
Knowledge of Photography (Strong Asset): A practical understanding of core photography concepts — specifically exposure, lighting, and composition. This is highly beneficial for representing our premium photo and camera ranges to enthusiasts and professionals.
Strong proficiency in MS Office.
Highly motivated, self-driven, and target-oriented.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Good time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
Ability to prepare and deliver clear presentations tailored to client needs.
A good command of both written and spoken Maltese and English would be an asset.
Currently based in Malta.
A valid driving licence is a must.
