Diar il-Bniet is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging chef to join our team and lead our growing programme of cooking classes, farm-to-table experiences and culinary events. We are looking for someone who loves Maltese and Mediterranean food and, just as importantly, enjoys sharing that knowledge with people.

Key Responsibilities

· Leading hands-on cooking classes for local and international guests

· Hosting Maltese culinary and farm-to-table experiences

· Developing seasonal workshops and new food experiences

· Working with traditional Maltese recipes and local ingredients

· Hosting private groups, corporate activities and DMC experiences

· Supporting special events and demonstrations

· Creating an enjoyable, welcoming and professional experience for guests

· Assisting with standard kitchen prep, service, and culinary operations outside of booked events and classes

· Maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene, organization, and food quality at all times

Requirements

· Must currently reside in Malta

· An experienced chef with strong practical cooking skills

· Food Handler Certificate

· Clean Police conduct

· Confident speaking and demonstrating in front of groups

· Friendly, energetic and comfortable interacting with guests

· ⁠Passionate about Maltese food, local produce and culinary traditions

· Creative and able to help develop new experiences

· Must be fluent in Maltese and English. Additional languages will be seen as an advantage

This is more than a kitchen role. We are looking for a chef who can become part of the face of the Diar il-Bniet experience.
