We are looking for a Launderer to work with us on full time basis.

The employee shall work as a Launderer and shall be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, packing, and storing clothes, linen, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items; operating laundry machinery safely; treating stains where necessary; checking items for damage or special washing requirements; keeping the laundry area clean and hygienic; using detergents and cleaning products properly; reporting damaged items or machine faults; and carrying out any other related laundry duties.

Remove stains with brush and products before washing
Pack cleaned pieces and arrange them on coat hangers, carrousels...)
Check parts of clothing, register any anomalies (content of pockets, tears, spots, zippers, buttons...); label pieces
Shape or iron product
Inform customer on cleaning of articles in textile or leather and receive payments
Hand over pieces to customer after checking cleaning and ironing
Sort pieces and determine cleaning method (water, dry, removing stains...)
Perform cash register activities (receive amount payable, transfer money to bank...)
Handle particular files or transfer them to respective service (disputes...)
Sell products and services (brush, carpet cleaner rent...)
Check appearance of processed linen. Isolate damaged items and remove
Maintain machines (clean filters and grills...). Disinfect trolleys (carts) and bins
Start up washing, drying and folding cycle of machines. Empty machines at end of cycle
Take linen to the different work places
Sort linen according to type, colour and make of textile. Set aside undesired objects
Prepare washing and processing products and dose according to type of linen and soil factor (degree)
Distribute linen items according to different working zones' needs
Fill up washing, drying and folding machine with linen according to capacity
Lay out linen on hangers or racks and store
Process linen: manual cleaning
Process linen: manual folding
Process linen: manual ironing
Process linen: pressing
Receive and identify linen (articles by type, customer...) for distribution among working zones
