We are seeking a skilled Upholstery Worker to carry out a variety of upholstery tasks, including cutting, stitching, repairing, and fitting upholstery materials.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: -Cut and prepare fabrics, foam, leather, and other upholstery materials. -Stitch and assemble upholstery components. -Repair and refurbish furniture and upholstered items. -Measure and fit materials accurately. -Use upholstery tools and equipment safely. -Maintain a clean and organised work area. -Complete upholstery work to a high standard and within required deadlines.

Determine terms for renovation/repair or making of an article (chair, upholstery) or furniture items, based on condition, cost of materials ...
Dismantle seats, cushions and support structure
Measure walls, windows, frames (wall supports)... Determine necessary materials and accessories
Place cloth on seating according to pattern chosen, set markings and cut to measure
Prepare upholstery material by: carding (wool, foam padding)
