The successful candidate will be responsible to assist with the carrying out of certain accounting duties for a portfolio of clients. These include book-keeping, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, VAT and tax compliance

Assisting with the maintaining of the general ledger, including: -Posting of accounting documentation (such as invoices) to the nominal ledgers -Preparing reconciliations of bank and other ledger balances -Preparing calculations, prepayments, and accruals -Compiling management accounts -Filing of accounting documentation -Preparation of the annual financial statements -Assisting with auditors’ queries -Preparation of Vat returns, tax returns and tax refund claim forms -Carrying out general duties including but not limited to liaising with other departments within the Group, and assisting in other ad-hoc duties as may arise due to the exigencies of the operation Qualifications and Skills -Applicants must be ACCA part qualified or equivalent -A minimum of 1 year experience in client accounting would be considered an asset -Able to work accurately to tight deadlines -Takes initiative and can work both independently and as part of a team -Excellent administrative and business support skills, able to multi-task and work calmly under pressure -Demonstrate the ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time -Working knowledge of MS Office suite, including Word and Excel -Proficient verbal and written communication in English

Check and record (entry of customer payments, drafting invoices, reminders...) company income
