Collect and deliver food, parcels and goods safely and on time. Follow assigned routes, schedules and platform instructions, handle items with care, use delivery apps to manage orders, maintain the vehicle, and comply with road safety rules.

The Delivery Driver shall be responsible for:

Collecting food orders, parcels, and goods from restaurants, shops, warehouses, or other designated locations.
Delivering items to customers safely and within required timeframes.
Following assigned delivery routes, schedules, and platform instructions.
Ensuring the safe handling and proper transport of food and goods.
Using mobile applications or delivery platforms to manage orders and confirm deliveries.
Maintaining the cleanliness and basic condition of the vehicle or scooter used for deliveries.
Reporting delays, incidents, or vehicle issues to the company in a timely manner.
Following company procedures, road safety rules, and Maltese traffic regulations.
Delivery Drivers perform their duties using company-approved scooters or small vehicles suitable for urban deliveries. These vehicles are selected to ensure efficient movement in urban areas, timely deliveries, and compliance with Maltese road and safety regulations.

Competencies

Set up route according to delivery requirements. Check documents (timetables, order form...)
Deliver or collect parcels according to request
Perform emergency measures in case of accident. Notify services concerned
Load parcels, envelopes, prepared dishes on or in the vehicle
Execute basic maintenance. Clean vehicle
Receive payments
Arrange delivery/collection of envelope/parcel together with customer (sign off, delivery note, reserve...)
Make deliveries by: scooter - motorcycle smaller than 125 cm3
Make deliveries by: scooter - motorcycle larger than 125 cm3
Make deliveries by: light motor vehicle (less than 3.5 tons)
