Responsible for performing vessel/boat maintenance, polishing, antifouling, and minor mechanical repairs while assisting mechanics when required.

Purpose: -To carry out polishing, antifouling, vessel maintenance, and minor mechanical repairs while providing assistance to mechanics and ensuring excellent customer service. Primary Responsibilities: -Maintenance, Repairs & Product Sales -Perform scheduled and responsive maintenance services on vessels. -Provide accurate estimates for repairs, maintenance, and products in liaison with the Aftersales Coordinator/Manager. -Ensure all work is authorized before commencement. -Make efficient use of materials, equipment, and labour to maximize productivity. -Conduct vessel testing and diagnostics as required. -Interpret and implement technical service instructions. -Record time worked, materials, and consumables used. -Report existing and potential vessel faults during service. Quality & Technical: -Support technical staff by providing guidance and assistance. -Stay updated on technical issues, bulletins, and updates. -Maintain company tools and equipment in good working condition. -Ensure housekeeping and safe working practices within the workshop. -Participate in required training, meetings, and seminars. Administration & Procedures: -Accurately complete company documentation and time allocations. -Follow all warranty procedures in line with company and manufacturer policies. Customer Communications: -Assess customer requirements by visiting vessels and listening to concerns. -Provide clear, jargon-free explanations of technical issues, repairs, and warranties. -Maintain professionalism, sincerity, and courtesy in all customer interactions. -Build and sustain strong customer relationships by exceeding expectations. General Duties: -Maintain high standards of personal appearance, cleanliness, and uniform. -Comply with company rules, regulations, policies, and health & safety requirements. -Be alert to fire, safety, and security risks, reporting any hazards immediately. -Promote respect, teamwork, and collaboration with colleagues. -Perform any additional duties delegated by the supervisor, within capability.
