We are looking for resourceful individuals to join the team on full time basis as Shutterers.

Your responsibilities would include:

Reading & Interpreting Technical Plans / Drawings
Setting Up Formwork / Shuttering
Dismantling / Removal
Ensure formwork is safe, no deflection or movement during pouring.
Report issues or failures to supervisors.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ensure that working platforms are safe, stable.
Work with other construction team to coordinate formwork and concrete pouring steps.
Inspect completed work to ensure it matches specifications and drawings.
Maintain clean worksite, remove obstructions, safe handling of tools and materials. Skills required: - Safety Cautious - Works well within a team - Able to take directions from superiors - Experience in construction - Punctual

Competencies

Adjust and check functioning of checking and measuring instruments
Place steel reinforcing bars (rebars), armouring, inserts, recesses, in mould or prestressed concrete mould
Check loading and supply of cement, concrete and asphalt
Draw up orders for concrete or requirements to manufacture pieces
Pour concrete in mould or prestressed concrete mould
