We are seeking to recruit Skilled Electrician & Plumber Assistants to help licensed or senior tradespeople install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and plumbing networks.

Preparation & Cleanup: Drilling holes in walls, cutting chases (grooves for pipes/wires), and cleaning up debris or rubble at the work site. Carrying Tools & Materials: Fetching, holding, and passing tools, cables, pipes, and fixtures to the main tradesperson. Assisting Electrical Work: Pulling wires through conduits, helping mount lighting fixtures, and setting up brackets or hangers. Assisting Plumbing Work: Helping position water pipes, unblocking or clearing drains, and carrying heavy plumbing materials. Site Testing: Helping test basic machinery, check for water leaks, or verify circuit connections under supervision.

Competencies

Assemble, support and protect sleeve holes, stockings, valves, fixtures
Check leakproofness of the sections, pipes and installation and perform necessary adjustments
Check transfer, circulation/destination of products, waste water (pipeline...)
Connect drinking water network and install water meter
Disconnect network for intervention (water, gas, electricity)
Install drains on an incline and check their watertightness
Install pipes, drainage pipes and junctions
Maintain and repair pipes
Mark out implantation of the construction site with signs (sighting mark/setting out point...) based on a plan
Measure and lay pipes, connecting mains (coolants, water, air...)
Perform excavations (trenches, pit excavations,...) and smooth surface by digging a bed.
Pinpoint failures to the piping and identify their nature
Provide place to install inspection holes, shafts...
Raise excavation and apply and seal covering layers; place underground warning grids or tape
Secure construction site and its environment (signposting...)
Sling, hoist and position pipes and fittings
Supply construction site with tools and material; check supply
Test sealing and fall of pipework
Work on: protection from pollution of potable water
Work on: taps, washbasins and sinks
Activate electrical installation and perform inspections
Check progress of work and its execution
Choose materials and stock raw materials for production of goods
Connect wires of industrial electrical equipment to machines, light points or sockets
Diagnose installation malfunctions and repair broken parts
Install and connect extra-low voltage installations (telephony, informatics, fire alarms...)
Install and connect industrial lighting installations
Install and connect lighting installations
Install and outfit an industrial electrical cabinet
Install electrical part of solar-powered installations
Install electrical switchboard in residential or tertiary buildings and do wiring. Connect switchboard to equipment
Install, connect and program: electrical pool equipment (pumps, filters, lights...)
Install, connect and program: emergency and safety equipment (emergency lighting, fire safety, lockout systems...)
Install, connect and program: heat pumps
Install, connect and program: lightning protection equipment
Install, connect and program: measuring and control instruments
Install, connect and program: storage heaters and elements
Make electrical fittings and switchboards
Make trenches to pull cables through (drilling through walls, filling...)
Perform simple masonry
Place and connect material for low voltage (switches, sockets...)
Place surface-mounted or built in cable ducts and wires
