🌟 About the Role

VBET is looking for a Strong Junior SEO Specialist to join a in-house iGaming project.

This role is a great fit for an SEO specialist who already has solid hands-on experience and wants to work with multiple iGaming projects, develop strong expertise across different GEOs, and grow within an experienced SEO team.

You will work closely with content, link-building, and development teams, taking ownership of day-to-day SEO tasks and contributing to the growth of new and existing projects.

Work Format: Remote, with occasional business trips

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Collect, expand, cluster, and regularly update semantic cores.
Maintain the quality and completeness of semantic cores by removing duplicates and irrelevant queries.
Map keywords to existing landing pages and identify opportunities for new pages.
Set up and maintain projects in rank-tracking tools.
Work with SEO abuse-related issues and identify potential risks to project performance.
Analyze competitors, including website structure, page types, content, and keyword targeting.
Perform on-page and internal SEO optimization of projects.
Prepare recommendations for creating, expanding, merging, or updating landing pages.
Optimize meta tags, headings, content blocks, and internal linking.
Develop content plans together with the Content team.
Create and manage tasks for content, meta tag, and page structure updates.
Analyze backlink profiles of both own projects and competitors.
Prepare regular SEO reports with key findings, results, and next steps.
Check implemented SEO changes and evaluate their impact on project performance.
Participate in launching new websites and SEO projects.

💼 Experience Requirements

2+ years of hands-on SEO experience.
Experience in iGaming, gambling, casino, sportsbook, or affiliate projects.
Experience working with commercial websites, preferably in competitive niches.
Experience with keyword research, clustering, competitor analysis, and on-page SEO.
Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals and website architecture.
Experience working with content teams and preparing SEO tasks.
Basic understanding of link-building and backlink profile analysis.
Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Serpstat, SE Ranking, or similar.
Ability to analyze SEO performance and make data-driven recommendations.
English - Intermediate or higher.
Ukrainian/Russian - fluent.

Nice-to-Have

Experience working with international GEOs.
Experience participating in new website launches.
Familiarity with multilingual SEO and hreflang.
Experience with Jira, Notion, Asana, or similar project-management tools.

🧰 Hard Skills

Keyword Research: semantic core collection, expansion, clustering, keyword mapping, and regular updates.
On-Page SEO: meta tags, headings, content optimization, internal linking, and landing-page structure.
Competitor Analysis: identifying competitor structures, content approaches, page types, and keyword strategies.
Technical SEO: understanding of crawlability, indexing, redirects, canonicalization, site structure, and basic Core Web Vitals.
Content SEO: ability to create SEO requirements and content plans based on search demand and competitor analysis.
Link Analysis: understanding of backlink profiles, referring domains, anchor profiles, and competitor link strategies.
Analytics & Tools: confident use of Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush and/or similar SEO platforms.
Reporting: ability to summarize SEO results, identify key issues, and provide clear recommendations for further growth.
