We are seeking to recruit a Fish Helper. Will assist with cleaning and filleting fresh and frozen fish, ensuring high standards of hygiene, quality, and safe food handling at all times.

Competencies

Boil and/or open shellfish (oysters, mussels) and crustaceans (whelks, langoustines)
Decorate display counter (mirror glass...). Display fish, shellfish and crustaceans. Indicate prices
Clean and sanitise worktop, tools and rooms
Inform customers on products (origin, recipes...)
Select fish/shellfish/crustaceans from fish farm/central market/auction... Decide purchase conditions (price/quantity...)
Pack products according to characteristic, order and manner of transport
Receive and check goods. Store goods in cold-storage room or pantry
