Responsible to assisting with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Whilst reporting to CT technicians, the CT Installer must be able to perform tasks such as running wires and cables, mounting electrical boxes, and connecting devices such as switches, outlets, and fixtures whilst is also responsible for tasks such as drilling holes, measuring and cutting wires, and performing basic troubleshooting. This role requires a basic understanding of electrical systems and equipment, good communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. General Duties include but are not limited to:

Helping with setting out of CT outlets as per drawings.
Reading and interpreting drawings in order to understand circuits and distribution board schedules.
Performing installation tasks in a professional and careful manner, while taking into consideration other ongoing works.
Wiring all systems in accordance with the working drawings provided.
Conducting initial testing using electrical equipment.
Professionally terminating electrical equipment including sockets, switches, distribution boards, and light fittings.
Collaborating with the site coordinator to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
Analyzing electrical drawings and identifying potential issues prior to installation
Carrying out tasks with meticulous attention to detail, particularly during first fix installations
Working with wires, hand tools, and small components requires manual dexterity.
Ensuring that the quality of work and material is according to CE standards. Position Requirements:
Secondary School Certificate will be considered an asset.
A solid understanding of the construction industry.
Minimum of 1 year experience working in the electrical field is preferred.
Strong work ethic and a dedication to contributing to the company's overall success and vision.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (eg. 25kg) and work in confined spaces.
Personal qualities such as confidence, integrity, and resilience.
Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues.
Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
Willingness to work collaboratively as a team player.
Problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and a proactive attitude.
Show proficiency in both written and spoken English.
European passport or working permission to work in Malta.
Clean police conduct certificate (must be presented).

Check working order/safety of installations and equipment (condition of cables, fastenings, electric power supply...)
Check working condition of equipment and circuits and integrity of structures
Assemble lighting gear according to the priorities and progress of the set build-up. Test cables and connections
Place surface-mounted or built in cable ducts and wires
Select wiring circuit, power levels of equipment, cabling, shunts, relays, fuses... based on electric circuit
