A Telecom Line Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and testing telecommunications networks.

The role involves aerial and underground work on coaxial and fibre optic cables to ensure reliable and efficient communication services. Key Responsibilities: -Install, maintain, and repair coaxial and fibre optic cable networks. -Carry out aerial and underground cable installation and maintenance work. -Inspect, test, and troubleshoot telecom lines to identify and resolve faults. -Perform cable splicing, termination, and connections as required. -Follow technical drawings, work orders, and installation plans. -Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and company procedures. -Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition. -Report faults, completed work, and any safety concerns to supervisors.

Determine interventions based on information from the helpdesk, hotline or information files
Install junction boxes (distribution boxes/splitters, electric sockets...) and connect them to existing cables
Prepare systems to be used again through standard replacement or repair of parts and components
Install installation on site and connect it to external networks
Work on networks: fibre-optic networks (Fibre To The Home - FTTH)
