MGC Pharma (Malta) Operations Ltd., a generic pharmaceutical development and manufacturing company operating within the Hal Far Industrial Estate in Malta, is seeking to further expand and strengthen its team. Therefore, the company wishes to announce the following vacancy on a full-time basis: Production Operator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To ensure that all products are manufactured, packed and stored according to GMP regulations and as per company procedures.
Ability to compile manufacturing documentation.
Cleaning of manufacturing equipment and the manufacturing plant.
Ensure that all GMP-related training, including SOP training needs, is performed in a timely manner.
Working in a clean room environment and wearing personal protective equipment
To work under the guidance of the Production Manager to perform and complete the assigned duties in a timely manner.
Managing the adequate storage and movement of materials into, inside and out of the warehouse.
Assisting the Production Manager in all storekeeping duties, including inventory management and control of expired and / or rejected materials.
Loading and unloading of materials and operating the forklift.
To follow all EHS procedures in daily operations.
To follow GMP regulations and company procedures at all times.
To perform additional duties as may from time to time be required in the best interest of the company.

Education and / or Work Experience Required

Ideally experienced with the pharmaceutical industry and familiar with Good Manufacturing Processes.
Capable of following standard operating procedures and able to work cautiously and safely.
Possession of good communication skills, both oral and written English.
Have good computer skills.
Sound knowledge of the manufacturing environment.
Be flexible and adaptable.
Be self-motivated, organised, flexible and capable of working independently
Good communication and problem-solving skills, and able to work well as part of a team.
