We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior technician to join our dynamic IT team. If you are passionate about technology related to IT and telecommunications industry, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and test telecommunications equipment, such as PABXs, and VoIP systems.
Run and terminate various types of cables including fibre optic.
Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues related to telecommunications systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
Respond promptly to service calls and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Train customers on system usage, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Prepare detailed reports on work performed, including any issues encountered and solutions implemented.

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of telecom infrastructure.
Understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting.
Experience in data and voice cabling installation and troubleshooting.
Customer-oriented approach with excellent communication abilities.
Be a strong team player and self-motivated
Demonstrate the ability to work in an organised manner, proactively and with minimal supervision
Have good communication skills in Maltese and English
Comfortable working at heights and in confined space.
In possession of a clean conduct and driving license
