Role Scope

The Parts Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the efficient handling, storage and movement of vehicle parts within the warehouse. The role also involves maintaining accurate stock records, supporting the Parts Department and Workshop, and ensuring parts are available and prepared when required.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect and process incoming parts deliveries against relevant documentation.
Check deliveries for shortages, damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the Parts Manager.
Organise, label and store parts in the correct warehouse locations.
Pick and prepare parts required by the Workshop, Parts Counter and customers.
Ensure the correct parts and quantities are issued in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain accurate stock records and update the stock management system as required.
Assist with regular stock counts and stocktaking exercises.
Identify and report stock discrepancies, damaged items or incorrect stock locations.
Assist with the preparation and handling of returned, warranty or obsolete parts where required.
Ensure parts are handled and stored correctly to prevent damage, deterioration or loss.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse and storage area.
Follow company procedures, health and safety requirements and safe manual-handling practices.
Work closely with colleagues within the Parts Department, Workshop and After-Sales team.
Assist with general warehouse and Parts Department duties as required.

Requirements

O’ Level standard of education or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of motor vehicle parts and technical components.
Previous experience within a warehouse, stores, logistics or automotive parts environment is preferred.
Good computer literacy and ability to use stock or inventory systems.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively within a busy environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English.
A valid and clean driving licence is preferred.
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Positive and proactive approach to work.
