Food & Beverage Server

Responsibilities

Greet the customers as they enter with a smile and a good morning, afternoon, or evening.
Escort customers to their tables.
Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients, cooking method and food allergies).
Prepare tables by setting up POLISHED crockery, silverware, and glasses.
Generate additional revenues by doing upselling and doing recommendations of any promotions we may have, Aperitivo, wines and special of the day
Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software or order slips.
Do a recap of the order before leaving the table to make sure you took the correct order and guest request.
Communicate order details to the Kitchen staff.
Serve food and drink orders according to our brand standard.
Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems.
Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
Receive and process payments.
Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the washing area.
Attend daily briefing with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations.
Follow all relevant health department regulations.
Provide excellent customer service to our guests.
Do all other tasks as required by the supervisor.
Work with Kitchen team as one team.
Adhering to with all HACCAP standards and all health and safety procedures.
